- Research potential applications and demos using Qorvo silicon.
- Contribute to design of example (reference) application boards using Qorvo silicon.
- Meet performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule.
- Work as a member of a team to contribute design of schematics, layout, and real lab design verification data.
- Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to verify the design.
- Bachelor or MSc in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) required.
- The student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design course work.
- Familiarity with EDA design tools like Orcad, Altium or KiCad.
- Self-starter with good communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information.
- Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products.
- Be able to enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment.
- Understanding of embedded low-power wireless SoCs and embedded software is desirable.
- Understanding of Wi-Fi, Zigbee / Matter and BLE standards is an asset.
- Exposure to RF-microwave test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes is an asset.
