Description :ResponsibilitiesCustomarily and regularly provides Air Export services to client companies, ensuring timely and accurate processing of documentation and all other aspects of customer requirements, including, but not limited to, booking shipments, preparing Airway bills, Shippers' Export Declarations, documentation required for clearance at destination, invoicing, packing lists, letters of credit when needed, input of data for tracking and tracing shipments, as required.Job Description
  • Taking care of the air freight export shipments from A-Z.
  • Preparation of necessary customs documentation, and all other government agencies' rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate data entry for Export shipments, including timely update of milestones, as required.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and customer retention by implementing effective service capabilities.
  • Drafting and issuing rates and making price agreements.
  • Reserving cargo capacity with airlines.
  • Maintaining contacts within the Dutch and worldwide network of customers.
  • Invoicing of shipments and the associated cost control.
  • Troubleshoot all problems - handling irregularities and preventing recurrence.
  • Willing to work the AOG service for one week every 4 – 5 weeks you will be responsible for the AOG service, this is from Monday to Sunday after working hours.
The Successful Applicant
  • 1-2 years of experience in airfreight forwarding or related field.
  • Knowledge of customs regulations and import/export requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • A Logistics related degree is preferred, but not required.
