At DSV in Venlo, you'll have the unique opportunity to help establish a brand-new outbound control tower from the ground up. You'll lay the foundation for streamlined processes that create calm, control, and continuity - right at the heart of international logistics and constant motion.You get it doneThe outbound control tower, your domain, currently exists mainly on paper. It's up to you (and your team) to bring it to life operationally. Together, you'll implement a major fashion client as well as support existing ones, all running on a fully automated process. Our customers always come first - your team focuses on solutions, not limitations: you're on it.How you do this? As a freight forwarder outbound, you're the key link between our warehouse, the customers, and the carriers. You coordinate and manage the transport of goods from our warehouse in Venlo to their final destination. You make sure every detail is spot on - from transport planning to export documentation, from coordinating with carriers to informing customers. You achieve this by:
  • setting up, structuring, and overseeing the full outbound process;
  • monitoring loading schedules, cut-off times and departures, and responding quickly and accurately;
  • liaising with customers and carriers on transport planning, customs and documentation;
  • spotting irregularities, improving processes, and escalating issues when needed.

  • proven experience in customer service, supply chain, or planning within logistics;
  • the ability to stay calm and structured, even when things get busy;
  • precision and attention to detail in your work;
  • a proactive mindset - you contribute ideas, suggest improvements, and aren't afraid to go off the beaten path;
  • excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
