We are looking for a motivated and results-driven colleague to strengthen our Shipping Agent team. As a member of our Shipping department, you play a crucial role in delivering transport documents. You'll be responsible for tasks such as maintaining relationships with suppliers and carriers, and creating streamlined and clear shipments. With your organizational skills, you ensure an optimal process. This position offers the opportunity to gain broad insight into the entire logistics chain within an international, dynamic environment.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
After goods have been picked and packed, you prepare the shipping documentation. For export shipments, you will coordinate with our Customs department to arrange export documentation. You communicate with carriers regarding shipment pickups.
If any issues or uncertainties arise, you'll be in direct contact with our customer.
This variety of tasks will help you build a deep understanding of the logistics chain, as well as valuable skills in planning, communication, and problem-solving.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional who is driven to make a difference in our customer service. With your hands-on mindset and communication skills, no problem is too big to solve. You are analytically strong and process-oriented, enjoying improvement and process optimization initiatives. You are stress-resistant and flexible towards your colleagues and working hours during peak times or holidays.We are also looking for someone who brings the following skills and experience:
- Preferably experience in maintaining customer and supplier relationships;
- Operational experience with dangerous goods or willing to learn;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to effectively resolve customer issues;
- Task- and solution-oriented, able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn and grow within the role;
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office and proficiency in English.
- Providing a Certificate of No Objection (VGB) is required; the application costs will be covered by CEVA.

- A gross monthly salary between €2,545 and €3,000, depending on your experience and education;
- A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
- A workweek of 32 to 40 hours is negotiable;
- Working hours between 08.00u and 17.00u
- 25 vacation days and 5 additional days (ADV) on a full-time basis;
