Within this department you are part of the System Integration team (~30 colleagues) with focus on the system integration, testing and validation of our metrology machine.TasksWhat will you be doing?As an Assembly Integration & Test Technician, you will be working on our state-of-the-art semiconductor metrology systems in our ISO 5 clean room and laboratories. Your mission is to make sure that all (sub)modules are integrated in the right way to create a high performing metrology machine for our clients.Main responsibilities include:
  • Edit and assembles parts based on drawings and instructions, such as building switch panels and pulling cables or building mechanical parts;
  • Perform (partial) test on semifinished products and systems in consultation with the team lead and /or other colleagues;
  • Check whether required components are present and meet the set ( quality) standards;
  • Follow all relevant safety requirements and apply them consistently during work: identify potential risks and ask for attention;
  • Work with the planning, tasks and set timelines in mind. You indicates in a timely manner if a problem or a bottleneck is expected;
  • Ensure that the workplace is tidy and clean: uses materials in accordance with regulations and is critical of timely maintenance;
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues within own area of focus and/or other teams.
RequirementsWhat do we expect from you?Startups can provide phenomenal learning and development opportunities but can also be a hectic environment at times. You must fit in such a climate and don’t mind to constantly implement changes and process improvements, and to go the extra mile on a regular basis and feel comfortable with some uncertainty.Furthermore, you need to recognize yourself in the profile as described below.
  • Education in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Avionics, Mechatronics, Maritime Officer, Applied Physics, Nano Technology, Instrumentation, or similar;
  • At least 5 years of experience in hands-on AIT activities on highly complex systems, like semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment, flight simulators or similar field;
  • You have worked with hand tools and measurement equipment;
  • Good understanding of material properties;
  • You can work 5 days a week on-site in the clean room;
  • You are able to work in stressful situation;
  • Proficiency in professional-level English is essential to thrive in this role.
