As a Project Lead / Senior Naval Architecture, you'll perform naval architectural calculations, drawings, and analyses, and coordinate these tasks. You'll manage multiple projects, ensuring naval architectural integrity and serving as the point of contact for areas such as weight & stability control, hydrodynamics & hull form optimization, propulsion, comfort, maneuvering, noise & vibrations, from design sale to delivery of yachts (70 to 160 meters).Your focus will be on delivering an integrated ship design from design to sea trial and delivery, addressing project-related issues, and integrating new techniques. The Naval Architecture department ensures contract specifications are met while maintaining design integrity.You'll be the primary contact for all naval architectural matters, accurately assessing risks and impacts of issues and adjustments within your discipline and in relation to other disciplines within the firm: Exterior/Interior/Mechanical and Structural Engineering.Comparable to a Project Leader or Project Manager, you'll interact with clients, owner representatives, Flag & Class Society, and other stakeholders. You'll manage Marine Engineers or Lines Plan Engineers per project and collaborate closely with internal Project Managers, Design teams, and the Principal Naval Architect of your department.   • Good employment conditions:
  • A gross monthly salary between €4.300 and €6.100 (based on knowledge and experience).
  • 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days (38 total).
Jouw profiel
  • Higher professional/university education in Naval Architecture.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Lead Naval Architect in new construction projects from concept to delivery in shipbuilding or yacht building.
  • Broad technical insight within your discipline and related fields.
  • Knowledge of hydromechanics, ship safety, and regulations.
  • Ability to apply new methods and techniques in work and projects.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication skills, result-oriented, and decisive.
