For you, this is a piece of cake, so you are happy to help him on his way.Then you get to work on our newest project: developing a WordPress plugin for a SaaS team.blue brand such as , , … They already have a very successful SaaS service, but it's up to Really Simple Plugins to provide a WordPress native experience by developing the perfect plugin. Based on a functional briefing, our 'WP plugin blueprint' and API documentation, you will be able to think out and develop the architecture for this project. You will work in close contact with colleagues from the SaaS brand and with your Really Simple colleagues to achieve the best possible result!Key responsibilities
- Develop new open-source plugins, for SaaS team.blue brands and standalone.
- Work daily to enhance our plugins by developing new features and updates to existing functionality.
- Further expand our WordPress plugin blueprint e.g. with composer packages.
- Identify and priorite optimizations within our codebases and development processes.
- Further optimize (automated) testing processes.
- Ensure code consistency, quality and security.
- Work full stack, the focus is on backend development though.
- Be involved in the analysis, architecture, testing, documentation etc.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing functionalities and suggest enhancements.
- Based on your experience you can take up extra responsibilities.
- Experience with PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS & MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress is a plus.
- Experience with creating custom WordPress plugins is a plus.
- Experience with React is a plus.
- Natural problem solver.
- Strong analytical skills, enjoy responsibility, and can easily maintain an overview of your tasks.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and constantly seeking ways to make our plugins more user-friendly and effective.
- Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
