And are you good at keeping order and overview? Then you might be the administrative reinforcement we are looking for in Waalwijk!KLG Europe set up a new warehouse in Waalwijk in September 2021. The warehouse space covers 20,000 square meters and employees about 200 people.As Shipping Officer you are responsible for the administrative processing and acceptance of orders and mutations. You are driven, accurate and eager to develop yourself. You work in a nice team where cooperation is important, also with other departments. Together you make sure that all (logistical) challenges are solved at the end of the day. So you go home with a good feeling.What will you do?
  • First point of contact to the customer and various departments of KLG and the truck drivers, both by phone and email;
  • Entering order data into the Transport Management System;
  • Responsible for digitizing and storing all transportation related documents;
  • Checking and following up transport orders (shipments) in the Transport Management System and ensuring internal follow-up;Maintain contact with various internal departments and some external parties;
  • Other common administrative tasks for the benefit of a well-functioning department. You work in the office but interact with the warehouse.

Your profile
  • You have a mbo working and thinking level;
  • You have an affinity for transport and logistics;
  • Work experience in a similar position in the logistics industry is a plus;
  • You are administratively strong, secure and accurate and you work meticulously with customer data;
  • You have good communication skills and you easily establish contact with customers;
  • You perform well in a hectic work environment, are stress resistant and are willing to go the extra mile;
  • You are proficient with office 365, including Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • You have command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
