JOB DESCRIPTION:Supply Chain PlannerAre you looking for a job where you are responsible for the most optimized balance between supply and demand? Then we are looking for you!The position:As Supply Chain Planner you are working at the Abbot Nutrition planning center. You will be the primary source for all inventory information within the supply chain for all the relevant Abbott departments. You will be working with the Master Scheduler and the plants to adjust production planning, with the Distribution group to optimize shipping and with Customer Service to minimize impacts for commercial affiliates for exceptions that could not be solved within production planning.What you’ll do

Turn data into action: Create smart, optimized shipment plans that ensure smooth and timely delivery to our customers.
Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor exception messages and proactively keep the supply chain informed and aligned.
Team up to make it happen: Collaborate with cross-functional teams—from production to sales—to solve challenges and drive results.
Drive continuous improvement: Regularly review key performance indicators using tools like Power BI, Excel, and SAP to uncover insights, identify opportunities to boost performance, and lead the implementation of smart, data-driven solutions

What you bring

A degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Production Operations Management or Logistics Management
Strong communication skills – you know how to make complex things simple. You can do this effectively in writing and oral communication in both Dutch and English.
Analytical mindset with a love for data and problem solving
Comfortable with planning tools and Excel (bonus if you know SAP or Power BI)
A growth mindset and a drive to make things better
