Category Manager Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) - HQ Rotterdam

• Develop and execute SDA procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and roadmap of the suppliers.
• Manage the SDA category like Coffee, Cleaning and/or Kitchen categories
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and innovations.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal value, quality, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, online and our stores to understand business needs and align procurement strategies.
• Monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
• Analyze spend data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement within the SDA category based on Customer Journeys.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring continuous alignment with business needs.
• Develop and maintain promotion and pricing strategy; to guarantee best offers for our customers.

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Marketing or Business Management
• 3+ years of experience in category management or procurement
• Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Problem-Solving mindset to come up with innovative solutions that satisfy all parties
