Voys is looking for a cloud engineer to help us make the next step towards a consolidated, secure and future-proof communication platform.Our current VoIP platform has served over 36.000 happy customers over the years. An achievement we’re proud of, but we are not done and still very eager to make the next big leap! We are looking to connect more communication channels while at the same time expand into new markets abroad. Within that ambition, our platform team serves as an important enabler for all our dev teams. The solutions you build will be used by every developer in the organization.Modernizing infrastructureAt the moment we are in a somewhat uncomfortable split when it comes to our platform infrastructure. We have a modern microservices platform (Holodeck) while at the same time we also have part of our landscape still running on our traditional infrastructure. That infrastructure is quite complex and, because of that, difficult to maintain. Our main goal is to consolidate our technologies to facilitate easier maintenance and scalability.Focus on AI and privacyAt the same time new developments, like AI, also have a large impact on our platform. The infrastructure required for AI comes with all kinds of new challenges that we need to handle. At Voys, we value privacy a great deal. For instance: we promise our customers that we control our own data. That means that our platform should be able to handle our own high privacy standards, even if we use AWS as our cloud provider.Now you come inWe need someone who can help us face these challenges and can make sure that we keep on improving on our platform. You are not only tech savvy, but you find the human aspect just as important. Voys is looking to further professionalize, create more uniformity in our way of working, and foster more collaboration. This also requires you to be a good communicator, and that you are able to take the lead if necessary.
