As a Back End Developer (Camunda), you play a key role in automating business processes using the Camunda platform. You design and model workflows using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and translate these into executable processes within Camunda. You develop interface connectors, mainly in Python, to integrate Camunda with internal and external systems. You make sure that these workflows are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.Your key responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software with a focus on process automation using Camunda.Model business processes in BPMN and implement them within Camunda.Integrate Camunda workflows with systems, databases, and services via REST, SOAP, or messaging protocols.Develop and maintain modular back-end components or microservices with clean architecture.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows and application performance.Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with relevant standards.Participate in code reviews, documentation, and internal knowledge sharing.Stay up to date with Camunda updates and back-end development best practices.Contribute actively to Agile/Scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.Who are we?

You understand how to turn business needs into technical workflows and collaborate effectively with colleagues from different disciplines.We’re looking for someone who:Has working knowledge and experience in Back End Development and BPMN, with a strong understanding of business process automation and workflow engines.Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Perform Process modeling, deployment, and integration assignments with some guidance and direction, mainly working independently on assigned tasksAnalyze and resolve problems using established standards, best practices, and development proceduresBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.ExperienceFamiliarity with message brokers and event-driven architecture.Experience with version control systems (e.g., GIT) and CI/CD pipelines.Experience in testing, debugging, and optimizing back-end applications for performance and scalability.Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with themProficiency in a back-end programming languagesPreferred:Camunda Certified Engineer or similar certification is a plus.Knowledge of security best practices in back-end development
