HERE Technologies is looking for a Product Manager to be part of HERE Maps & Services (M&S), which sits at the core of what HERE does as a leading mapping and location company.The role is to define and drive execution of HERE Map gap detection & feedback processing capabilities allowing to continuously enhance HERE Map content, Location Services, and Applications for its various customer use-cases and implementations.Your responsibilities:
- Based on input from the Automotive and Multi-Industry Business units and available market insights, you will work to define and maintain an up-to-date and transparent E2E capabilities strategy via Product Requirements Documents
- You will define and own a rolling long-term capabilities roadmap for the entire gap detection and feedback processing domain, from fully automated processing of vehicle probe and sensor data to user feedback provided via HERE dedicated applications/interfaces.
- Together with HERE Architecture and Engineering you are accountable for roadmap delivery for your targeted capabilities and aligned to HERE Map Making capabilities for current and next-generation map data.
- Driving strategic and tactical product definition and product delivery work is part of your day-to-day routine.
- You drive prioritization towards engineering with regard to roadmap execution and delivery.
- You will define, monitor, and provide updates to the Management Team on key metrics for your product components.
- You provide support to Business unit PMs, Sales, and other support functions on any topics related to your products (feature set, roadmap, readiness, key metrics,), including support in customer-facing engagements, tenders, and RFI/RFQs where required.
- Willingness to travel (max. 20% of your time)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, Preferably in the area of complex systems & design or high-volume spatial data processing
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product or Portfolio Management.
- You have managed complex software and/or Map data products or Location Services in the past. If you have experience doing both it is a plus.
- You can convey complex technical solutions in audience-friendly terms, up to VP level, in English and/or German.
- You are fully dedicated to creating best-in-class capabilities that have a clear business and industry impact.
- You always put the product perspective and voice of the customer in the center, you look at technology to solve a business problem in an efficient and economical way, not the other way around.
- You can do product work on both strategic and tactical levels. Your product work is based on customer discovery, market insights, and tangible.
- Fluency in English is a must, and German is a big plus.
