Today Leiden is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in EMEA supplying all the major global markets.For the Leiden facility we are looking for an IT Site Leader to be hired with a permanent contract within the Info Technology department.JJT Site LeaderThis position has accountability for the technology/performance/portfolio of the standard and local products in the plants that are specific to the Pharma Manufacturing processes. In addition, it has the responsibility to ensure that the IT products that support the manufacturing site are coordinated efficiently to deliver application roadmap strategies using Agile and Release Management while maintaining Site Fact-book and Product Catalog. The Site Leader leads the Financial TCO for site JJT Operation Product and Solutions as well as to have input and coordination on investment prioritization.Responsibilities
  • Actively own the Plant Ecosystem as a JJT Site Leader for ownership of local products and work toward redefining to a platform or standard product according to JJT MAKE Vision and maturity strategy
  • Lead / Support all related Project and Portfolio Implementations and related investments incl. External Manufacturing for the Plant
  • Drives collaboration and execution with internal and external partners
  • Program and Service Manager: Tracks progress of product development and deployment using Agile Release Management
  • Passionately owns and role models diversity & inclusion
  • In Collaboration with the technical support team, responds to user problems, explains new technologies, and presents solutions
  • Forms positive relationships with internal business partners by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively
  • Coordinates and leads discussions as a point of contact for the onboarding of new departments or organizations
  • Effective teamwork on quality/compliance/ cyber security remediation and improvement initiatives
  • Implementation of training programs that meet the needs of business partners and improve overall quality and compliance and support audits
  • Successful implementation of process and system improvement projects
  • Budget, estimate the return on investment and business value, secure funding, plan and execute initiatives of digital transformation, data strategy, and advanced analytics as well as Technology Lifecycle Management(TLM)– Activities partnering with business and IT teams
  • Prioritizes product demand & backlog – understand economic models to handle prioritization and applies systems thinking
  • Partner with build and run teams of applications as well as infrastructure and automation support teams to achieve the desired reliability to meet business objectives
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of IT product (application) management design, and solution in the deployment of major IT capabilities (like manufacturing/shop floor systems); people management experience.
  • Good Communication skills. Shown ability to work efficiently with business and technology partners to understand business requirements.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services model where development and support services are provided by virtual, multi-location, multi-functional teams
  • Leadership experience in building teams with the above capabilities
  • Proficiency in English (B2 level and above)
Preferred:
  • Pharmaceutical industry IT systems experience
  • Experience in project execution utilizing Agile / JIRA / rRDM methodology
  • Project delivery experience
