With strong ambitions for expansion, the company continues to diversify and strengthen its footprint in both established and emerging offshore markets.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Marine Compliance Officer to support the safe and compliant operation of a diverse fleet of offshore vessels. In this role, you will be part of the compliance and safety team and contribute to the effective maintenance of the company’s management systems. You will be responsible for overseeing vessel certifications, regulatory documentation, and audit coordination, helping ensure the fleet meets all relevant international maritime standards.Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and ongoing development of safety and quality systems aligned with ISM, ISO, and internal company requirements.
Maintain and regularly update compliance documentation for both office and vessel operations. * Coordinate internal audits, track non-conformities, and assist in maintaining the annual audit schedule.
Liaise with flag authorities and classification societies regarding inspections, surveys, and the renewal of certificates.
Organise and manage technical records and certifications, ensuring documentation is filed accurately in both digital and physical formats.
Monitor regulatory updates from relevant bodies (e.g., IMO, IMCA), circulate updates internally, and ensure vessels remain aligned with current standards.
Work with technical teams to maintain regulatory data within planned maintenance and compliance systems.
Candidate Profile
A degree in a maritime or shipping-related field.
Proven experience in the maritime or offshore sector, preferably in a compliance, HSE, or fleet support function.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Good working knowledge of document control systems and office software.
Familiarity with QHSE principles and international maritime regulations.
Detail-oriented, well-organised, and comfortable handling regulatory and certification processes.
