Job DescriptionApplication Scientist required to join a growing quantum computing company. You will work hands-on with superconducting quantum processors, supporting researchers in unlocking advanced capabilities such as tunable couplers and quantum error correction. This role suits a PhD-level scientist or experienced engineer with expertise in superconducting qubits, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer success in deep-tech.Responsibilities
  • Help customers achieve their research goals using our superconducting quantum processors, from device tune-up to enabling QEC primitives.
  • Deliver technical trainings, create tailored documentation, and provide on-site support to customers and internal success teams.
  • Work with our in-house measurement team, contributing to advanced experiments and expanding your expertise in quantum hardware.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and product teams, ensuring their input shapes product development and user experience.
  • Co-author scientific papers and whitepapers with customers, highlighting product capabilities and showcasing research breakthroughs.
Requirements
  • PhD in superconducting qubits or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience tuning multi-qubit superconducting quantum processors; familiarity with tunable couplers is a plus.
  • Strong communicator, able to explain complex concepts clearly and build trusted customer relationships.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Deep interest in the latest advancements in quantum technologies, particularly superconducting systems.
  • Willingness to travel for customer engagements, installations, and conferences.
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
