• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Proven track record in managing large-scale logistics or production facilities, preferably in a start-up or greenfield context
• Strong understanding of automated warehouse technologies and integrated supply chain systems including deep flow/process understanding of an automated warehouse or equivalent automated production
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on execution capability
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage

• Contribute in the operational readiness programme, ensuring that infrastructure, systems, and teams are fully prepared for go-live
• Coordinate with construction, technical, and automation partners to guarantee timely and quality delivery of the site
• Build the site leadership team, including recruitment, onboarding, and role definition
• Establish policies, procedures, and KPIs that will govern the site's operations
• Serve as the key liaison between the project steering committee, local authorities, and strategic partners

• Assume full P&L responsibility for the site, ensuring operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and service excellence
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure full compliance with BESTSELLER standards, legal requirements, and HSSE regulations
• Oversee stakeholder communication, including regular reporting to senior management and group headquarters
• Lead strategic projects to enhance the capacity, sustainability, and technological advancement of the site
