- Design and lead the development of the long term strategy of Automotive in accordance with the Vice President.
- Oversees the categories Classic Cars and Motorcycles (including a large portfolio of sellers and categories and of strategic importance for the Supercluster)
- The Category Manager translates the long term strategy into an annual budget towards the team.
- Ensure that the Automotive proposition to its buyers and sellers is in line with Catawiki’s overall value proposition;
- Accountability for the cluster P&L -as set by the VP, and hereby oversees the financial and budgetary activities; in order to make recommendations for improvement to further success in terms of revenue.
- Ensuring customer centricity within the Customer Journey
- Analysing and benchmarking key competitors, having an understanding of the drivers and trends in the market. Ensures the business is compliant with industry regulations.
- Secures and develops long term resource planning in consultation with the Vice President.
- Aligning the strategy across departments and enhancing collaboration amongst the different teams.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in e-commerce businesses with a passion for Automotive
- Proven commercial experience and drive with a customer centric attitude
- 5 years of experience in (in-)direct people management responsibility
- Excellent project management, problem solving, analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Team player who thrives in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
