Your JobGlobal Collateral Management Expertise team is in charge of the collateralization process for financial markets transactions with the purpose to mitigate credit risk. You will be actively participating and delivering in numerous projects and initiatives to accomplish the correct implementation and optimization of processes. You will act as a liaison between different Collateral centers, ING Hubs Philippines and the Center of Excellence in Amsterdam to maintain control and excellence in the Operational Service. You will be responsible of the coordination, monitoring and alignment of all the streams related to collateral management for OTC, ETD, GMRA/GMSLA, Portfolio Reconciliations, Clearing etc.As a Senior Operations Specialist within the Global Collateral Management team you will be responsible for monitoring the complete and timely execution of the Global Collateral Management activities in the ING Hubs Philippines and in other Collateral units around the globe and will act as a Senior member of the expertise team, while having the opportunity to assume leadership in several change initiatives.Key responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily collateral management process and ensure this process takes place timely and accurately to meet ING’s obligations under legal documentation such as CSA, GMRA or GMSLA;
  • Manage escalation processes with different stakeholders in order to maintain operational excellence in all margining activities
  • Ensure that best practices and Target Operating models for collateral management activities are followed in all Collateral Centers.
  • Act as advisor and executor in all projects and new implementations impacting Collateral Management.
  • Monitor management reporting for all business partners;
  • Review processing procedures and propose improvements to increase efficiency;
  • Implement and align changes to processes as required by new regulations, projects, or policies.
Your work environmentGlobal Collateral Management Expertise team Amsterdam is part of WB LS&FM Operations domain. We operate for the Financial Markets business unit. The environment is primarily internationally oriented. The level of professionalism within GCM and amongst market counterparties is high. Work week 40 hours.Who are we looking forYou are a graduated or academically skilled person in Economics or similar education. You are enthusiastic, a natural leader and looking for a challenging position. You have a solid analytical background, strong risk awareness and client focus. Knowledge of credit processes and credit risk and Financial Markets systems is preferred. Fluent in English both oral and in writing. Other competencies and experience:
  • Experience in process design, measurement and optimization
  • Working experience in a global organization with different cultures and maturity levels
  • Change strategy and corporate implementation skills, deep experience with working in large, growing international organizations facing demanding business requirements.
  • Ability to work and deal with key stakeholders and with proven track record and credibility in achieving results leading and delivering in projects and implementations.

Knowledge
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a Collateral Management, Risk Management, Financial Markets Operations or similar environment;
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of Financial Markets products, especially derivatives;
  • Solid understanding of legal documentation regarding collateralized products, e.g. ING policy on ISDA Master Agreements.
  • Solid understanding of European Banking regulations impacting Financial markets industry.
