  • Plan, scope and execute project with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and report risks and facilitate mitigations.
  • Track KPIs, identify gaps and define alternative strategies to achieve targets.
  • Manage a team of (assistant) project managers to execute your plans and strategies.
  • Build, align and present senior management presentations and overviews.
  • Develop a strong network with different business units and bridge process gaps.
  • Forecast and control expense and capital budget and facilitate senior management approvals.
  • Identify and manage escalation topics and lead recovery plans.
  • Work Closely Together with the Global Powertrain Organization.
  • Initiate continuous improvement on processes, tools, communication and organization.
  • Keep up to date on the competition and market developments.
Over het bedrijfWithin the DAF Vehicle Development organization, the project management office is responsible for all heavy and medium duty vehicle projects (e.g. Definition, Engineering, Testing and Running Business), with the focus on the European market. Jouw profielYou are a strong and persuasive leader with perseverance and a Master degree in preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive Engineering. You bring 15+ years of professional experience within an engineering development organization.In addition:
  • Have 8+ years proven track record in Project Management, preferably with IPMA certification
  • Experience with 200+ Million Euro (CapEx + OpEx) projects spanning over at least 3 years.
  • Worked a minimum of 5 years consecutively for a multinational of 1000+ people and 1+ Billion Euros in revenue
  • Enjoy high stakes environment with demanding targets
  • Wants to solve complex problems with pragmatic and structured approach
  • Proactively builds plans and strategies with many stakeholders to realize goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills on different levels in the organization
  • Comfortable to communicate in Dutch and English. Third language is a Pre
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office suite
