The production site in Groningen plays a crucial role in the global supply chain, delivering high-quality products that contribute to improved patient care worldwide. The organization has a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous process improvement.Your Role
As a Senior Supplier Engineer, you will lead projects aimed at improving supplier quality, delivery performance, and cost efficiency. You will act as a technical point of contact for raw material suppliers and collaborate closely with internal teams such as procurement, quality, and R&D to manage product introductions, design changes, and supply chain optimization initiatives.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects focused on quality, delivery, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain continuity
  • Analyze and resolve complex supplier quality and delivery issues
  • Support new product introductions and lifecycle management activities
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and project management tools to drive improvements
  • Build strong relationships with global suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Manage project budgets and report progress to senior management
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulated (medical) manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of plastic injection molding, tooling design, GD&T, and inspection systems
  • Experience with Six Sigma/Lean methodologies is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Minitab is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally
