Overview:Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Safety Manager to join our Silicon IP team in Vught part of the Security Business Unit of Rambus. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.As a Safety Manager, the candidate will be reporting to the Dir Systems Architecture and is a Full-Time position. You will work with development teams across multiple locations and will be an integral part of the product development process ensuring that products are developed in line with ISO26262 requirements and our internal certified processes. You will also work with our wide customer base to ensure Rambus products meet their requirements and ensure that our product development teams have a clear understanding of the requirements.Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.Location

Responsibilities:
  • Safety manager for semiconductor IP products,
  • Manage safety-related activities and ensure product, process, and work product compliance to ISO 26262 for semiconductor IP
  • Creation of safety plan and safety case in accordance with ISO 26262
  • Management of all work products in the safety plan
  • Oversight of safety concept development and implementation
  • Work with internal development teams and automotive customers to ensure functional safety compliance
  • Ensure documentation and reports are as required by ISO 26262 according to process
  • Provide training on functional safety
  • Review of safety analyses for products
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in functional safety for E/E systems, preferably in a semiconductor environment
  • Product development and certification to various ISO 26262 ASIL Levels up to ASIL D or other related safety standard
  • Experience with various safety work products such as Safety Plan, Technical Safety Concept, FMEA, FMEDA, HAZOP, FTA, DFA
  • Working knowledge of JAMA and similar tools
