
Inside Sales Representative (FTC)

- Play a key role in nurturing existing smaller customers while developing sales leads, upsell and cross-sell Inmarsat products & services.
- Verify and qualify new sales leads from marketing qualified leads into sales qualified leads.
- Providing timely, professional, and accurate responses to all incoming sales enquiries received by phone, email, and other formats.
- Accurately record all interactions in the CRM System (SalesForce).
- Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Meeting individual objectives consistently including quality target.
- Provide excellence through internal sales processes & customers service processes.
- Support, maintain and upsell Inmarsat portfolio to an identified group of smaller customers
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails and social media.
- Research and build target account lists.
- Lead Qualification & Nurturing:
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and determine their potential value.
- Schedule and conduct product presentations using digital conference tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers.
- Cultivate leads through personalized communication and follow-up.
- Sales Closing:
- Negotiate and close deals efficiently.
- Accurately forecast and track sales activity.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales quotas.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Saleforce:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system, Salesforce.
- Use Salesforce to track leads, manage opportunities, and analyze sales performance.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with prospects, customers, and internal teams (e.g., marketing, customer success teams).
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and complete successful campaigns.
- Continuous Learning & Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills.
- Background experience in B2B sales role based on solution-based selling, dealing with customers (Maritime) and partners - ideally Telecommunication/IT sector, Maritime industry
- Sales techniques – familiar with Solution based-, consultative-, needs-based selling methodology
- Proficient in using Sales Force CRM
- Remotely – comfortable with customer interaction remotely using Telephone, Email, Video conference and other digital tools.
- Excellent Communication Skills – clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to customers in a manner that engages, helps them understand product & services benefits both technically and commercially
- Strong Social Skills – Ability to build rapport, establish trust, and maintain positive relationships remotely.
- Customer Service – understand the customer's needs by providing and delivering professional, effective, high-quality support before, during, and after sales
