- Lubrication Expert: Apply lubricants to machinery based on schedules, equipment requirements, and best practices. This includes selecting the correct greases and oils.
- Visual Inspections: Regularly inspect equipment for signs of lubrication issues, wear, or damage, reporting any concerns to the maintenance team.
- Lubricant Management: Assist in managing lubricant inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling practices to prevent contamination and waste.

- Hands-On Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician, lubrication technician, or similar role, ideally in a (food) manufacturing environment or a similar industry with heavy machinery. Experience working on cranes, forklifts, trucks, or similar heavy equipment can also qualify as fitting.
- Lubrication Knowledge: Knowledge of different types of oils and greases, their applications, and proper lubrication techniques. Familiarity with lubricant storage management and safety compliance.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment (bearings, shafts, pumps). Comfortably performing basic visual inspections of machinery.
- Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to personal safety and food safety practices.
- Detail-Oriented: Able to work in a clean, tidy, and organized manner.
- Team Player: Able to work effectively with other members of the maintenance team.
- Proactive and Eager to Learn: A desire to learn new skills and improve your knowledge of lubrication techniques.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Bonus Points: MLT I (Machinery Lubrication Technician Level I) certification is a plus. A background as a car mechanic or truck mechanic is also a valuable asset.
