We challenge you, give you the space to grow, and ensure that your work truly makes an impact.Post descriptionThe breaktime supervisor looks after the welfare of school pupils during their free time. You are responsible for the smooth running of the breaks and coaching students in the desired behaviour. Student supervisors have a range of duties and responsibilities, such as:
  • Supervise school pupils in the canteen, the school building and outside
  • Help to ensure a safe school climate in and around the school
  • Interact with students in a positive and caring way
  • Carry out minor first aid
  • Supervising students in clearing away and managing the materials used
  • Organise lost property items
  • Communicate pro-actively with the line manager on issues relating to children's behaviour.
  • Assisting the facilities team in daily tasks
Requirements and recommendations
  • Training for working with pupils in an education setting
  • The ability to manage a group of pupils from 11 to 18
  • Good knowledge of the English and Dutch language (knowledge of other European languages is a bonus)
  • Calm and patient
  • Interest in working with students
  • Awareness of the international community in the Netherlands
  • First aid experience

o The salary is a minimum €2350 and a maximum of €2759 for a full-time contract on scale 2.
