The Customer Service team in Rotterdam plays a key role in ensuring clients across multiple European markets receive high-quality service and timely support.Role Overview
As an Account Specialist in the Customer Service department, you'll manage the full Order-to-Cash process for your customer portfolio. From order entry to delivery and invoicing, you'll ensure everything runs smoothly, working cross-functionally with Planning, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance. You'll also be the go-to person for operational issues and continuously improve service quality.
This is a fast-paced, team-focused environment where attention to detail, communication, and collaboration are essential.Key Responsibilities
-Manage daily order fulfilment: order entry, product availability checks, shipment coordination, and invoicing
-Act as the main point of contact for customers, handling service-related questions and challenges
-Collaborate with internal teams (Planning, Sales, SC, etc.) to optimize customer satisfaction
-Ensure compliance with procedures, formal governance, and company policies
-Support with SAP master data accuracy and documentation
-Identify process improvements and contribute to cross-functional projectsRequirements
-MBO+/HBO (Bachelor or equivalent work experience)
-1-2 years' experience in customer service or supply chain
-Fluent in English; another European language is a strong plus
-Proficient in SAP and MS Office
-Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset
