- Coordinate an efficient operation within set targets / KPI's by taking responsibility for the department needs and the client requirements within a safe working environment.
- Ensure procedures and work instructions are documented & followed.
- Plan and coordinate labor in accordance with forecast & DL target.
- Monitor that daily KPI's, Quality Metrics, Kronos timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure that CAPA's and 5C's are acted upon in accordance with the guidelines.
- To provide back up and support to the Manager via e.g. joining and presenting during MBR presentations, supporting client/site projects and discuss department goals and targets.
- Monitor staff performance including topics like UPPH monitoring, time-keeping, Quality and Inventory issue resolutions and overall Productivity of the department.
- Liaison with all operational and support departments onsite to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy across the total site needs.
- Active participation in the site leadership team and quality circle meetings.
- Managing and coaching skills.
- Good communication and relationship building skills in English and Dutch (speaking, reading and writing).
- Ability to work in a challenging environment and work with changing priorities & deadlines.
- Knowledge of and ability to work with warehouse/logistic systems.
- MS Office (Excel, etc.) - essential for reporting. Quality systems knowledge to a reasonable level.
- Process thinking and ability to translate improvements in actions.
- 2-3 years of warehouse experience in a (supporting) supervisory role.
- Staff planning capability with financial awareness.
- Flexibility of working hours including shifts, weekends & public holidays as required.
