Under general direction, the Engineering Materials Specialist is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient coordination of inventory operations within the Engineering department. This includes spare part handling, inventory control, and transport logistics. The role ensures a smooth flow of materials through Maintenance & Engineering operations and distribution channels, in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and applicable regulations.Responsibilities
-Ensure compliance with cGMP, internal policies, and relevant regulations
-Coordinate and support Technician and Engineering teams with projects and daily needs.
-Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.
-Pick, pack, and stage materials for internal use or shipment to vendors.
-Prepare work kits for technicians and engineers to execute maintenance on packaging equipment.
-Manage the return and restocking of spare parts.
-Complete administrative tasks related to work orders.
-Initiate purchase requests and verify supplier deliveries.
-Conduct annual inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
-Maintain accurate inventory records in CMMS/Maximo.
-Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders based on minimum thresholds.Requirements
-Associate's degree and 2 years of directly related experience, or
-High school diploma/GED and 4 years of directly related experience.
-Experience in GMP/GDP environments.
-Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken, including proofreading and following step-by-step instructions.Other Information
