We’re a leading global online food delivery platform, and our vision is to empower everyday convenience.Whether it’s a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery, and convenience partners across the globe.About this role*Please note that this position is located in Enschede (3 days a week at our Enschede's office and 2 days working from home)As our Junior .Net Software Engineer in Fintech, you’ll play a vital part in our Fintech Services team, working with world-class engineers responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that will help us fulfill our mission. You’ll be working on our service, public APIs, internal core processes and logic, integrations between our platform and systems, and much more.These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
  • Design and develop scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Work with product managers, QEs, and developers to implement new features.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and apply necessary fixes.
  • Document design decisions and architectural approaches.
  • Participate in code reviews and assist in documentation.
  • Create unit/integration tests and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with team members, stay open to learning new technologies, and support applications post-launch.
What will you bring to the table?
  • Good experience in web and software development
  • Hands-on experience with C# and .Net is mandatory. Additional PHP experience would be a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with at least one database technology (e.g., MySQL, DynamoDB)
  • Basic experience with version control systems like GIT
  • Basic understanding of Docker
  • Awareness of Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
