- Contribute to the development of the category under management and brand innovation plans.
- Be responsible for international new product development beginning with product brief through to launch and working closely with Group R&D, Group Packaging, Group Finance, Group Regulatory, Design agency. Focus is on profitable and scalable NPD's that are in line with brand and category strategy.
- Partner with CMI at Group and Local level to recommend consumer research that translates insights to actionable plans for NPD's and/or consumer engagement.
- Collaborate with local marketing teams to translate global NPD's, brand positioning and category expertise to local commercial execution.
- Create strong working relationships with cross functional Group level partners to facilitate development and execution of Global brand and category strategic vision.
- Support Product Design development for assigned projects working with internal agency.
- Provide compelling sales stories, in cooperation with Group Sales Trade Marketing, for NPD's under management so as to drive scale and wide acceptance of NPD's at the local market level.
- Gather, analyse and share relevant business, market, brand and product information which could lead to new business opportunities.
- Work closely with assigned markets to execute and implement the overall Refreshment strategy.
- 5-7 years of brand and/or category marketing experience
- Excellent command of English; both spoken and written
- Experience within FMCG
- Proven exposure to brand and category management at both Group/Corporate and local operating levels. Strong foundation in brand building fundamentals, including positioning, communication hierarchies, and go-to-market execution.
- Advanced knowledge of new product development, with hands-on experience in consumer research (both qualitative and quantitative methodologies). Skilled in analyzing and interpreting market data-syndicated and custom research-to provide actionable insights to local markets.
- Strong project management skills across functions and geographies. Experienced in leading or contributing to cross-functional project teams. Pragmatic and action-oriented, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Effective and influential communicator with strong consultative skills, both verbal and written. Team player able to navigate a matrix organization, collaborating across operating companies, business units, and Group functions.
- Entrepreneurial, business-driven, and culturally sensitive within a diverse, global organization. Flexible, open to frequent travel, and adaptable to changing circumstances
- Strong overall business acumen with ability to understand product P&L and levers that influence profitability from the manufacturing and commercialization processes.
