  • Leading and mentoring the EHS team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Acting as a key member of the site leadership team to foster a culture of EHS excellence and implement behavior-based initiatives.
  • Monitoring and addressing EHS-related issues such as compliance, risk reduction, and hazard detection, actively contributing to solutions.
  • Developing and delivering high-quality on-site EHS training and support the achievement of EHS objectives and goals.
  • Review and evaluate EHS audit and self-assessment results. Identify support requirements to closing gaps and progress on closing actions.
  • Ensure good and transparent relationship with global stakeholders.
  • External Interaction to represent the group with local authorities and government and institutions, act as the employer for the legal entity.
Leading the EHS team to ensure compliance with regulations & policiesKey member of the site leadership team to foster a culture of EHS excellence
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. safety engineering) or equivalent through experience.
  • In depth experience in EHS in a production context (ideally in chemistry or oil & gas), including familiarity of legislation and relevant laws.
  • Fundamental supervisor experience to manage an EHS department including subcontractors.
  • Experience in working under the Seveso Directive.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Experience in developing HSE Plans & HSE Audits.
  • Trained as Prevention Advisor Level 1.
  • Trained as an Environmental Coordinator is a plus.
  • Experience with REACH regulation in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
