You will also provide customers with rates and pricing for their business needs, acting as a daily partner and key point of contact.How you will contribute
- Target potential customers, develop and maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective clients.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for existing customers, respond to inquiries promptly, and foster strong, long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor progress, and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and revenue.
- Generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Proven experience in operations as a foundation for customer service and pricing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated success in sales within the logistics industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM and TMS software, along with other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, and a good command of English.
