As the Product Architect for the Dynamic Publishing System (DPS), you will shape the product’s short- and long-term roadmap. Your work ensures business continuity and enables the system to meet evolving capabilities and strategic goals. DPS is ASML’s strategic solution for authoring, distributing, and viewing build and service documentation. It supports engineers working in ASML factories and customer cleanrooms, ensuring accurate and timely access to critical information.Role and responsibilitiesAs a Product Architect you will report to the WorkPrep ART leadership and collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Business Process Analyst, and System Architect. Together, you form a core architectural team ensuring that business capabilities are fulfilled by the right applications and architectural decisions.Furthermore you’re responsible to:Define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with ASML’s strategic objectives.Provide architectural guidance on core and supporting components of the DPS.Collaborate within the WorkPrep Agile Release Train (ART) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Work closely with the System Architect to ensure architectural alignment across all applications in the WorkPrep ART.Communicate solution directions to development teams and support implementation.Validate design and implementation choices throughout the development lifecycle.Ensure the system remains robust, scalable, and adaptable to future needs.Education and experience8-10 years of working experience of which 3-5 years proven experience in software architecture, preferably in complex enterprise systems.Strong knowledge of Archimate for enterprise architecture modeling.Proficiency in UML for system design and documentation.Experience with Java and XML for backend and data structuring.Familiarity with Component Content Management Systems (CCMS).Experience with low-code platforms, especially Mendix.We consider the following experience as preferred but not mandatory:Experience with systems used in high-tech manufacturing or cleanroom environments.Familiarity with ASML’s ecosystem or similar industrial environments.Knowledge of modern publishing technologies and standards.SkillsWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that.
