Reporting to the Manager of Department, this full-time and permanent position is based in the Netherland and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our operations and its' growth.Key responsibilities:
  • Compilation and review of Financial Statements and filing with Dutch Trade Register;
  • Prepare/set up monthly payroll journals per cost centre, as specified by the client and coordination of payroll related payments;
  • BFI reporting with Dutch Central Bank;
  • Review of bookkeeping (accruals, interest calculations, sales entries, movements in investment property, lease incentives, intangibles, service charges reconciliations according to Dutch GAAP but also US GAAP principle) and additional bookkeeping tasks (debtors, creditors, bank, payroll journals, accruals etc.);
  • Review of distributions and capital contribution requests
  • Reviewing of cash flow statements
  • Review (and preparation) of Client specific monthly reporting and reconciliation of balance sheet items and accounts;
  • Preparation and coordination of CIT & VAT returns;
  • Preparation audit file and assistance with statutory audits
  • Following up, and coordination on client specific accounting requests;
  • Client contact in order to support relationship manager;
  • Relationship manager contact on internal Vistra matters;
  • Regulatory transaction monitoring.
Key requirements:
  • Expert level of Dutch GAAP, knowledge of IFRS is preferred;
  • Excellent verbal and written Dutch and English communication skills;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • You are pro-active, focused on quality, persuasive and you have great advisory skills.
  • Friendly and outgoing team player with strong analytical skills;
  • If, in addition, you have knowledge of US GAAP and Milogic and Infine software, you would be perfect for the role (bonus, not required).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience (audit or accounting).
