- Lead and implement performance improvement on performance and quality of outbound shipments.
- Manage 3PL and logistics service providers' contracts, and lead MBR and QBR with them.
- Support the Supply Chain Director in the strategy.
- Proactively optimize the supply chain from order to delivery and identify key capabilities to be developed and process improvement opportunities in our operations.
- Manage projects as identified that drive improvements in service, cost, labor, systems use, or other areas as deemed necessary.
- Able to follow up and ensure execution of projects as per timelines agreed.
- Provide Performance Dashboard and reporting to management (KPI, cost, projects status…).
- Select logistics service providers, negotiate contract and SLA, and lead implementation on new operations (IT implementation, operational processes…)
- Ensure Cost optimization.
- Lead your region's compliance with EHS and DG requirements as it applies to the logistics and coordinate with trade compliance to ensure all documentation and regulatory requirements are met consistently.
- Stay up to date with all relative duties, tariffs, VAT, and customs requirements for your region's activities.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or similar.
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in a multidisciplined Logistics role, of which at least 2-3 years' of managing operations combined with business knowledge.
- Strong project management skills. Has experience in large project implementation linked to warehouse operations, and logistics in general.
- Able to develop and execute changes and initiatives on tactical and strategic level to achieve regional objectives.
- Strong analytic skills, presenting data as compelling information with high level of attention to details and accuracy of data.
- Experience in dealing with high complex matters and projects that are extremely vulnerable for the future of the team and are of great importance to the department. Resistant to stress.
- Independent worker with strong planning and organizing skills.
- Be willing to travel up to 40%, domestically and within Europe.
- Be willing to work in an office in Amsterdam.
