
Global Category Procurement Senior Manager - Retail

- Work closely with Senior stakeholders and Regional procurement teams to create and implement an effective medium and long term category strategy ensuring quality of service and cost effectiveness.
- Develop in-depth Category fact base from robust External sources and analyses (markets dynamics, industry best practices, innovations, key players,…) and cost modelling.
- Build current and forward-looking Market / Industry intelligence.
- Build the overall Retail Categories Strategies inclusive of Regional sourcing, Local Risk Management needs and Innovation Capabilities to best serve the local markets needs and objectives.
- Define the Value Opportunity roadmap and Implementation programs.
- Lead and/or Participate in global supplier negotiations through to contract award in line with Category Strategy and when necessary solve business issues.
- Enhance Supplier Relationships to yield superior value for Coty.
- Develop a Detailed understanding of the Data Privacy and Information Security policies and procedures and conduct all activities in accordance with these policies and procedures and the Coty Code of Conduct.
- Have meaningful experience in Indirect Procurement, preferably Marketing or Merchandising categories, at least 7 years
- Experience in Strategy Planning and execution of a strategy is a must
- Experience in Procurement on a makeup category would be ideal, beauty is a must
- Experience in working in an international environment and matrix organization
- Degree qualified preferably in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or other relevant discipline.
- High degree of fluency of English is required
- Robust team player / leader, experienced in collaborating with global remote teams of different maturity and seniority
