In this role you will interact with our local Shimano Sales Offices who are in direct contact with our (B2B) customers. Your main responsibilities will be to monitor and further professionalize our sales processes and conditions throughout the European Bike offices.
As expert you will be gathering sales information (e.g. warranty-, shipping-, payment terms conditions) from these local sales offices. With this information you will be proposing an approach to further unify these conditions into one European sales conditions framework.
After the implementation of the new, unified and standardized framework, you will be the owner of this framework and gather market and business feedback for further improvements.
As part of the Sales Coordination Team, you will be working closely with the Pricing Team, whose main focus is on trade terms and price management, market price monitor and pricing reports.The Challenge
- Identify the primary European sales conditions framework with commonalities and localizations and propose further enhancements.
- Alignment of sales / trading conditions (trade terms, shipping, warranty handling, credit handling).
- Coordinate and drive sales (order) management best practice across the Shimano Europe Bike offices.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the executions and updating of Sales Order Management rules and policies.
- Identify and lead harmonization and standardization projects of commercial practices across the Shimano Europe offices.
- Perform monthly analysis of specific reports and key indicators.
- Ensure and safeguards data integrity, uniform categorization and a clean CRM / ERP customer definition.
- The ideal candidate has a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in a multinational company with a cross-border scope.
- You are a team player who is able to work effectively and jointly find the root cause and or requirements behind the questions.
- You have strong analytical skills and can create meaningful insights based on gathered information.
- Have experience/knowledge in unification/harmonization of sales conditions.
- Bring in sales conditions framework principles and (industry) best practices.
- Pricing and conditions knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and/or SAP ERP, Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Power BI, working with datasets and queries.
- Focus on “project” of alignment – daily operational function on reporting/integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills In English, both verbally as in writing.
