Some of the parts we've produced are even floating in space!We are looking for a Quality Improvement Intern to join us on this mission! In this role you will use critical thinking to resolve discrepancies between the Manufacturing Partner and the customer.To be successful, you need to be highly organized, time-efficient, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for our customers and suppliers.   • Use critical thinking to resolve discrepancies between the Manufacturing Partner and the customer
  • Concisely evaluate liabilities for improperly fulfilled orders
  • Use excellent communication and cultural understanding to build relationships with the Manufacturing Partner
  • Contribute and present to weekly metric meetings within the team
  • Identify and manage personal projects within the company
  • Provide clear resolution strategies for improperly fulfilled orders while preserving good Protolabs-Manufacturing Partner relationships
What it takes:
  • You are currently an enrolled as 3rd/4th year student for, a HBO, Bachelors or Master's degree in Business, Communications, Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • You are an EU passport holder, or currently enrolled in university in the Netherlands (we cannot apply for visa applications for this role)
  • You can start this internship around June and you are available for 5 months minimum, 32-40 hours per week
  • A people person with a knack for problem-solving
  • Multitasker with excellent time management skills
  • An ownership mindset - you stick with an issue until it's solved
  • Open to feedback; works well in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills
  • Interest in 3D printing processes; technical knowledge on materials a plus!
