Better Collective was established in the Netherlands in 2021 following the acquisition ofsoccernews.nl, voetbalwedden.net and onlinewedden24.com. Our Dutch team currently comprises five team members split into a commercial unit (iGaming products, media sales and marketing) and an editorial unit, which is organised under the editor in chief for Europe. Furthermore, the Dutch product teams are supported by a number of expert teams spread across several offices in Europe.Soccernews.nl is Better Collective's flagship asset in the Dutch market and one of the fastest growing football media news sites in the country. Powered by over 30 million monthly visits it channels daily football news, exciting video and audio content together with transfer rumours and emotions in a captivating manner. Soccernews' editorial team features ex Dutch national team player Anouk Hoogendijk and ex Ajax and PSV coach Aad de Mos.Our current office is located in Groningen where our Dutch dev team is based as well. In addition, we will be opening a new office in central Utrecht in May.THE ROLE
We are looking for an ambitious Head of Market to join our team! The objective of the role is to take our Dutch business to the next level and enable continued growth.
You will be responsible for everything commercial related to the Dutch market including defining and executing the business strategy, driving revenue (P&L), building new partnerships and exploring potential acquisitions with the objective of accelerating growth. You will work closely with various group functions in conducting these tasks.
You will lead the charge in creating new revenue avenues for Soccernews.nl and other sites in the BC portfolio as well as identifying media assets to expand our existing portfolio either through strategic partnerships or M&As.
