Job Summary Do you have strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality control and systems?For our Quality department at our production plant Tilburg we are looking for aProduct Quality Technical Specialist (32 hours)IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences. We deliver sustainable innovations that elevate everyday products.Crafting unique, technology-enabled flavor designs that define the identity of food and beverage brands, shape trends in flavor building and fuel market success.The position is essential in setting the IFF system up for success by providing the fundamental quality tools and skills to successfully create and implement quality systems, process improvement, and quality control.As a Product Quality Technical Specialist, you interact with all plant functional management and workforce to understand, develop, simplify and improve processes.
It is responsible for administering the company quality program in accordance with customer and company requirements as detailed in the responsibilities below. This position maintains a strong presence within the production environment in relation to balancing short-term production issues with long-term quality objectives. You will report directly to the Quality Manager Tilburg.The scope of this position includes the resolution of all types of quality issues within a specific operations environment. This includes root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues. Support the quality engineers in the day-to-day business.Where You’ll Make a Difference
  • Help drive continuous quality improvement through problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in investigating customer quality complaints, including root cause analyses and provide corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support management of internal complaints and validate the effectiveness of the executed CAPAs.
  • Support with the implementation and improve procedures for maintaining high standards of quality (ISO), GMP, and hygiene.
  • Monitor and audit the department’s conformance with local/corporate Quality Assurance standards, systems, and procedures. Internal auditing and coordinating external audits of customers or certifying bodies like ISO.
What Makes You the Right Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in a variety of disciplines including quality, manufacturing, and/or cross-functional teams (internally or externally).
  • Good training, communication, and negotiation skills.
How Would You Stand Out?
  • Experience in quality engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of GMP and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Fluency in English is required. Dutch (fluency) is also preferred.
