They are the primary contact person for users who require knowledge and support on topics related to his or her working environment (hardware and system software).Responsibilities and Tasks
- First level support contact person at our Dutch HQ
- Challenging IT projects within the European organisation and participation in international projects
- Provide fast and effective resolution to issues and/or user complaints on Murata infrastructure
- Identify the root causes of errors, escalating serious concerns and/or unknown problems to other System Administrators, related third parties or management
- Be able to provide solutions to keep a high level of availablity for users
- Adopt processes to track and maintain high user satisfaction
- Create and maintain effective and high quality documentation of processes
- Support users in their work environment by conducting user trainings, writing and editing training manuals, and gaining feedback from users to improve training methods
- Proactively support reduction of infrastructure issues by analyzing common complaints and problems reported by users and formulate solutions together with the management
- Independent overall responsibility for dedicated IT services within IT
- Completed MBO/HBO in Information technology or related study
- Min. 2 years experience in User Support role
- In-depth knowledge of standard hardware and software (Windows/Office applications)
- Effective communication skills
- Effective at problem solving
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
