If so, we have a dynamic opportunity for you. Apply now!FunctieAs a CAD/PLM Software Developer, you will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining the 3DEXPERIENCE CAD/PLM platform. You will develop EKL scripts and related solutions to ensure the platform supports the growing engineering needs efficiently and accurately. Your tasks will involve analyzing requirements, developing and documenting technical solutions, and advising on best practices for continuous system improvement.You will work closely with Functional Application Specialists, Testers, Key Users, and external solution providers to implement scalable and innovative capabilities within 3DEXPERIENCE.Specific duties in this role include:
  • Developing business rules and actions for generating, capturing, modifying, and extracting engineering data.
  • Maintaining data setup on 3DEXPERIENCE servers to ensure smooth operations and system performance.
  • Creating and verifying knowledge checks and generating functional reports and templates.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities using EKL.
  • Reviewing functional specifications and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Independently programming, testing, and debugging EKL scripts and related tools.
  • Documenting solutions through use cases and demonstrating functionality to stakeholders.
  • Helping colleagues and reporting issues to fix bugs or improve system performance.
Voorwaarden
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Hands-on experience with EKL scripting and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, particularly CATIA.
  • Strong knowledge of IT/IM systems, including PDM, CAD, and engineering analysis tools.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, and experience with GIT or other version control systems.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on user-driven solutions.
  • Strong command of both English, both written and oral. Speaking Dutch is a strong asset.
