For our large accounts without local representation in the Netherlands, you are the go to person for claims, pricing, operational issues, and special cargo or assignments. All focused on sea freight import and export. You manage the SLA/SOP and ensure KPIs are met. Because of you, our customers can rely on us. Boom! Another satisfied client, and the best part: You're on it.How you do this? Together with one colleague, you are the missing link between our client, operations, and global sales. You deliver top-notch service to our key accounts, onboard new clients, and maintain close contact with carriers, various DSV internal divisions, and your direct colleagues in Dordrecht. Your mission? Ensure a flawless freight forwarding process, boost customer satisfaction, and further expand collaboration. You achieve this by:
  • maintaining frequent phone contact with operational departments, carriers, local and global accounts;
  • drafting SLA/SOPs and ensuring KPI targets are met;
  • implementing new customers into our systems, including CargoWise;
  • checking shipments and follow up, handling damages and claims, issuing quotes, negotiating rates, translating customer questions into workable operational processes, acting as a troubleshooter for operational issues, and visiting your key accounts.

  • hands-on experience in sea freight import and, or export. You know how operations run inside out;

  • an excellent communicator English and Dutch (B2), you are resilient and naturally likable;
  • skilled in managing and onboarding sea freight clients, you keep processes running smoothly;
  • you are a born negotiator and proactively hunt for the best deals with suppliers, always balancing quality and cost.
