You play a key role in delivering these complex projects: you're on it.
How you do this? By ensuring the successful execution of large, complex projects within our Contract Logistics division across all Dutch locations. You achieve this by:
  • leading multidisciplinary teams of 7 to 20 professionals and combining different areas of expertise to bring the project to a successful outcome;
  • overseeing timelines of 9 to 24 months and managing project budgets of €10-20 million;
  • coordinating with internal and external stakeholders - including partner companies and government agencies - and building a strong network to get the right people and resources at the right time.
You bring structure and efficiency to automation projects, whether on new build sites or existing locations. With a keen eye on all interests at play, you steer progress, provide senior leadership with critical advice, and ensure all developments align with contractual frameworks and business cases. From the work floor to executive board, you keep everyone informed through proactive communication and effective change management.Your team stands out within DSV by its mix of experience, technical expertise, and drive to deliver complex projects together.   • a passion for project management, a hands-on mindset, and a healthy sense of humour;
  • at least 10 years of experience in project management, preferably within the logistics sector;
  • experience managing complex warehouse automation projects;
  • strong knowledge of project management methodologies like Prince2 or PMBOK and experience with tools such as MS Project and MS Teams;
  • excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
