CPC specializes in full trade cycle support, administration and reporting services for pension funds, family offices and insurance companies in Europe. In servicing these client groups with a professional and client focused skill set, the CPC acts as extension of the Asset Manager. The CPC DNA is an Asset Management DNA; a thorough understanding of Asset Management processes, investment strategies and investment procedures.What will you be working on as Permanent Control Officer at CACEIS?As the sole Permanent Control Officer in the Netherlands, your primary role is to oversee business delivery and conduct controls on delivered processes. The Permanent Control Officer is the independent first line oversight officer within the three lines of control model that CACEIS operates. The Permanent Control Officer controls, supervises and scrutinizes activities and risks regarding the processes within CACEIS NL CPC. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring the work of the various teams, ensuring adherence to established standards. The core focus is on actively controlling, monitoring, as well as reporting on processes and findings. Effective communication skills are vital as you will be the main point of contact in the Netherlands, requiring frequent communication with peers in your team based in Paris.Key responsibilities:
  • Drive a proactive approach to risk management by placing significant emphasis on control of processes and thorough risk evaluation.
  • Monitor, control and assess the activities of the various teams in the CPC, with a strong focus on risk identification and evaluation.
  • It is expected of the Permanent Control Officer to challenge the business regarding their processes, ask thorough and difficult questions if needed to get the information required.
  • As the exclusive Permanent Control Officer in the Netherlands, prioritize effective communication with the Paris-based team to enhance collaboration in process control and risk evaluation.
  • Provide compelling evidence, pose incisive inquiries, and collaborate with the business teams to comprehensively In the role you are busy with both risk prevention (Risk Control Self-Assessment) and post-controlling the risks.
  • Make substantial contributions to annual control planning, and process improvement initiatives, with a dedicated emphasis on evaluating and managing risks.
  • Play a pivotal role in aligning teams on incidents and quality of service reports, ensuring a unified approach to risk assessment and control.
