In the Benelux region, we have more than 50 sites spread across 30 locations, where over 11,000 colleagues contribute to our success every day.YOUR ROLEAs an Inventory Control Supervisor, your primary goal is to ensure accurate stock levels for our customers. Working within a LEAN philosophy, you analyze and identify opportunities to further optimize inventory management processes. You act as an advisor to your manager on the optimal storage and organization of stock. Your role is to translate the data in the WMS into the things we actually see in the operation. At a tactical level, you identify opportunities and bottlenecks in inventory management. These insights serve as the foundation for improvement project, which you will implement in collaboration with the operation. With a proactive and initiating role, you contribute to a more efficient warehouse operation, ensuring continuous improvement processes.On a daily basis, you manage a team of six high-performing Inventory Controllers. They operate on the warehouse floor, ensuring that our team members can perform their tasks as efficiently as possible. You play a key role in their personal and professional development.You work closely with the warehouse operation and supervision, which means you regularly put on your safety shoes and can be found on the warehouse floor. In this dynamic environment, you serve as a point of contact for both colleagues and customers. Your working hours can be flexibly scheduled within office hours, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.WHAT WILL YOU DO?As part of the Operations Support team, you support two key customers at our warehouse campus in Roosendaal. You maintain close contact with various internal departments and colleagues, including Warehouse Supervisors, the Contract Manager and the Inventory Control team. These colleagues handle daily bottlenecks and operational challenges, while you take on a supervising role. Your focus is on translating recurring obstacles into long-term, structural solutions. By analyzing historical and current customer data, you identify patterns and opportunities for continuous improvement.As a Inventory Control Supervisor, you work on:
  • Monitoring and analyzing order flows, for example, using ABC analysis. In case of anomalies or deviations, you inform the customer and/or colleagues so that appropriate action can be taken;
  • Identifying and contributing to the structural resolution of warehouse issues, either through targeted projects or Kaizen initiatives;
  • Developing and optimizing the long-term (re)layout of goods within the warehouse to improve efficiency;
  • Coaching and developing your team members, ensuring their professional growth and performance;
  • Leading the annual cycle count and reporting on inventory accuracy and findings.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?You thrive on optimizing processes within a dynamic logistics environment. You have a keen eye for detail and excel at processing, analyzing, and monitoring data with precision. Additionally, you are comfortable interacting with both colleagues and external stakeholders. With a strong resilience to stress, you maintain focus under pressure and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.Additionally, you bring the following knowledge and experience:
  • You have an HBO level of education and thinking;
  • You have a good command of English, as many systems and communications with colleagues and customers are in English.
  • You are proficient in working with numerical databases (Excel and WMS system) and frequently perform analyses based on data dumps;
  • You have experience with ABC analysis;
  • You have at least two years of work experience in a project or supervisory role.
