Then this role is perfect for you.You get it doneWith your smart, project-based approach and in-depth knowledge of WMS systems, you independently implement customer solutions and actively contribute to automation projects, helping optimise our processes at our sites in Maastricht: you're on it.How you do this? You translate our customers' logistics needs into effective configurations and improvements within our Warehouse Management System (RedPrairie/Blue Yonder). You take full ownership of customer implementations, migrations, and automation projects from start to finish. With your WMS expertise and project-driven mindset, you ensure that complex logistics processes are seamlessly translated into practical, efficient system configurations.In this role, you'll actively participate in project teams, coaching and supporting fellow engineers and working closely with various internal stakeholders, such as IT specialists, Business Change Management (BCM), and local engineers responsible for parts of the implementation. Through this collaboration, you not only precisely capture the client's requirements, but also ensure a smooth technical implementation and a solution that aligns with operational practice. You achieve this by:
- independently leading customer implementations, migrations, and automation projects;
- translating complex logistics and operational needs into clear system configurations and functional specifications;
- acting as the subject matter expert throughout implementation and optimisation phases and ensuring successful project delivery.
- a relevant degree at HBO level (university of applied sciences) in logistics, supply chain, IT or a related field, along with approximately 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse management systems and SQL, preferably combined with experience in logistics automation/mechanisation;
- strong analytical skills and the ability to translate operational and customer needs into IT specifications;
- excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
