Then we are looking for you!You get it doneYou will ensure the optimal functioning of our logistics processes. You'll work daily with your team on the efficient handling of thousands of pallets, managing multiple shifts: you're on it.How you do this? You'll be responsible for initiating and implementing process improvements that significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the cross-dock. You'll analyse existing processes, identify opportunities for optimisation, and ensure the necessary changes are successfully implemented. Additionally, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from receipt to dispatch.You play a crucial role in motivating and guiding your team to achieve the best results every day. You'll encourage your team to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and support them in making them a reality. You achieve this by:
  • leading your team on a rotating schedule across three shifts: 05:30 - 14:30, 09:00 - 18:00, and 16:30 - 01:30;
  • identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency;
  • coaching and developing employees, including conducting performance reviews;
  • ensuring effective communication and collaboration with import and export departments;
  • ensuring good communication and teamwork with the import and export teams.
Your team stands out within DSV by its strong collaboration and diverse mix of employees. You will lead teams of 35 to 50 people, supported by buddies, ensuring everyone works efficiently together.   • several years of experience in a leadership role; preferably in a cross-dock environment;
  • a proactive attitude, a strong presence, and excellent communication skills;
  • flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts;
