You light the way.More about the roleThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to join our BU Agriculture R&D Team in Eindhoven as an Embedded Software Architect/Engineer.As a Development Architect of Embedded Software, you’ll be responsible for developing Embedded Software for our horticulture LED drivers and lighting control devices.   • Together with the System Architect & Electronics Engineers translate system requirements into SW tickets and created the architecture to embed al the function in a structural way.
  • Co-Develop embedded software for LED drivers and lighting control devices, in close collaboration with SW-Engineer and hardware engineers
  • Develop the entire software development life cycle, including developing requirements, design, coding, and verification for new features
  • Work in close relation with our Software Test Engineer on clear specification and testing of the software in prototype of existing driver manually or work on the automatization of the test setup
  • Work in a team with agile development methodologies and a continuous improvement mindset

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related fields
  • Experience in creating software architecture, based on latest market demands and insight from multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • 5-10 years’ experience in writing low level Embedded SW code (C-language) for micro controllers with time critical processes without RTOS
  • Knowledge of ARM microcontrollers and low-level peripherals, e.g. Infineon XMC, STM32, STM8 is a plus
  • Affinity with Electronics, measurement equipment and ability to read circuit diagrams, where the knowledge of Power Electronics like PFC, Buck, Boost, is a plus
