Then the most modern and complex offshore wind projects are waiting for you!As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer Offshore Wind, you will act as a discipline leader within an international and multidisciplinary team. You will focus on projects for the Offshore Wind and Energy sector, providing technical support and guidance for all Instrumentation-related matters.What you will do:
  • Lead a team of instrumentation engineers and designers
  • Preparing instrumentation (Detail) designs according to the project requirements
  • Working on technical specifications and attending FAT for SCADA/ DCS, Telecommunication and Fire & Gas detection systems
  • Preparing cause & effect diagrams, control narratives, network architecture diagrams, etc.
  • Delivering the technical scope within time, budget, quality, safety, and legal regulations
  • Cooperating on a daily basis with other internal departments, as well as external stakeholders
  • Working together and reporting to the Project Manager

What you already have:
  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
  • Experience in leading a team of engineers/designers
  • Working knowledge of SCADA/DCS, Telecommunication, and F&G detection systems
  • +5 years of experience in Instrumentation (detail) design projects, preferably in Automation and Telecommunication fields
  • Proficient in Smart Plant instrumentation and E3D is a pre!
  • Fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team
  • Available for full-time in the Rotterdam area
